Music

We love making a joyful noise to the Lord!  With a  Makin Westmorland 34 electronic organ, a Kawai upright piano, an electronic keyboard, music groups, orchestra and a choir we like to fill our services with beautiful music.

We have a lively music group which provides accompaniment for many of the modern hymns and songs which form a regular part of our worship. Young people are included in this group, playing a variety of instruments. The music group also usually leads the worship at the Rural Praise & Prayer evenings in different chapels around the circuit.

The church is very fortunate in having its own orchestra, made up of young people as well as the more mature and having a range of ability. Young musicians are often "brought on" through playing in the orchestra. There are a variety of instruments including those found in brass bands. We meet fortnightly on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm and play a range of music at concerts and to accompany worship.  For more information please contact Mrs Julia Husbands, 01780 753968
