Prayer
Prayer is an important part of our church. People and places, problems and needs are prayed for fortnightly on Monday evenings from 7.00 pm to 7.30 pm in the prayer chapel or at 17 Drift Avenue.
These prayer times are open to everyone. They are informal, and we learn a lot from sharing with one another.
Our prayer chapel is normally open at other times for private prayer by anyone who wishes to use it.
The church operates an e-mail prayer & news service, through which prayer needs can be passed on.

For the 4 weeks after the General Church Meeting (10th May), we will concentrate our prayers on the challenges facing our church … it’s people, it’s future and the STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES and THREATS that it is facing.
Opportunities to meet together for prayer have been arranged:
Mondays 11th, 18th, 25th May and 1st June at 7:00 p.m.;
Tuesdays 12th, 19th, 26th May and 2nd June at 10:00 a.m.;
Wednesdays 13th, 20th, 27th May and 3rd June at 12:00 noon;
Thursdays 14th, 21st, 28th May and 4th June at 2:00 p.m.;
Fridays 15th, 22nd, 29th May and 5th June at 3:00 p.m.
These prayer times, lasting 30 minutes will be held in the Prayer Chapel.
If you are unable to attend in person, please pray wherever you are at these times.
After Morning Worship on Sunday 14th June there will be a Bring & Share Lunch at church. This will be an opportunity to share any insights from the prayer times, along with other thoughts on the way forward.
Thank you and God Bless,
Rev. Andrew Hollins
